I want to place this work within the genealogy of Fluxus and other
instructional work, stemming from Russian constructivists like Malevich
(especially when you mentioned building this at a monumental scale) and maybe
also Sol Le Witt and the Christos. I think what I'm finding conceptually
interesting is the idea of a work yet unrealised. And formally the schoolyard
materials of paperclips and the contrast in fluidity/hesitancy in the line
work.
I also feel like I'm pick [sic] up on biopower as a theme, from a machinery
extending from a nucleaus. It reminds me also of Boetti's mathematical
explorations of his spiritual ideas about gyres and order and disorder of the
world.

Part of the reason I bring up Boetti as well is the two lines placed to the
right bottom corner, I'm reading as a kind of unintelligible signature, which
it [sic] something he played with, within his more spiritual ideas about Artist
as Mystic and also as an exploration of visual language formation.
